He is known for his creativity, ingenuity and knowledge, the foundation which allows him to guide your complex and intricate cases from beginning to implementation. A 35 year industry veteran of the life insurance industry Jeff has held senior sales positions with Phoenix Mutual and Highland Capital before founding Chesapeake Brokerage.The driving force behind Chesapeake Brokerage, a new aged firm with old school principals, Jeff knows what truly drives clients and their advisors. Insurance portfolios are not about the marketing flavor of the week. It’s how well you connect with the people you’re trying to help. It’s about your ability to understand their needs and how you communicate your understanding back to them.Although Jeff has been recognized with countless awards throughout his career, his greatest awards are in the rewards of his family. Jeff and Marge have been married for 30 years and have three wonderful daughters, Megan, Amanda and Samantha. Not only are he and Marge partners in life they are also business partners.Jeff is a member of the BEPC (Baltimore Estate Planning Council), AALU (Association for Advanced Life Underwriting) and NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors). Born on Miami Beach Jeff is a diehard Dolphins fan. He lives in Finksburg, MD, enjoys playing golf, hiking, fishing, traveling and collecting rum.

Marge Levy

Marge is responsible for Contracting and Licensing for Chesapeake Brokerage. Marge has over 18 years of insurance industry experience in the areas of Contracting, Underwriting, New Business, Group Pensions and Group Benefits. With strong organizational and communication skills you’reensured that your contracting experience will be a pleasant and smooth one. Marge’s expertise, knowledge and “hands on” style continues to emphasize Chesapeake’s “Human Factor”.Marge is a native of Northeast Philadelphia. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family. Marge enjoys the outdoors, hiking, traveling and has a passion for interior designing and decorating.

Linda Bennett

Linda started her insurance career in 1999 as a new business processor for a large brokerage firm in Maryland. In 2007, Linda joined forces working with Jeffrey Levy, leading the new business team for the MD/NOVA/DC markets. In 2011, Linda became the Director of Underwriting and New Business for Chesapeake Brokerage. In addition to underwriting and new business Linda works closely with Licensing and Contracting.
Linda’s experience gives her great insight in accessing your client’s underwriting situation. Her close relationships with carrier underwriters, as well as, our own in-house underwriters gives her the advantage in getting tough cases approved.She will assist you and your team with presenting your clients to our carriers in their best possible light. She is very detailed oriented and takes pride in her work. Linda has her FLMI, ARA, and has been recognized for her work with Life Office Management Associationfrom the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting.She lives in Gettysburg, PA with her husband, Tom and enjoys reading, working out, hiking, biking and dog training.

Evan Roberts

Evan joined Chesapeake in 2012 as an internal marketer and sales support. In 2015 Evan became Brokerage Vice President assisting and partnering with producers to grow their client base through creating relationships and sharing his marketplace knowledge. He brings an unique passion to every opportunity and challenge. His competitive spirit drives him to immediately seize every opportunity with the overall desire to surpass his clients goals and experiences. Through his exploratory process Evan provides effective and efficient paths to capitalize on business opportunities, and grow his relationships.By actively partnering in your practice and providing a hands on approach tocase design, sales ideas, and underwriting you are assured a comprehensive solutionto helping your clients and building deeper relationship with them. He is a practitioner of the strategic planning involving life insurance, annuity, and long-term care products, and uses this experience to bring you closer to your client, build a trusted relationship, and provide the best experience he can.

Evan is active both civically and in the industry. He is a Board Member of NAIFA Baltimore’s Young Advisors. He is a graduate of McDaniel College where he played lacrosse. Evan lives in Annapolis MD with his wife, Saralyn their son Holden and Ralph the dog. When Evan’s not working he’s a golf enthusiast, plays basketball, Penn State fan, concert go-er, and is always active.

Kevin R. Beck, CFP®

Kevin’s primary duties are as a design analyst. In addition he provides case consultation, product due diligence, illustrations support and preparation of presentation materials. He also is available to answer product or carrier questions, or to help advisors with their business in any way he can. He may also be contacted for existing coverage questions and analysis.A graduate of the Marriott School of Management, at Brigham Young University, with a degree in Finance,Kevinbrings both technical training and an analytical nature to bear in solvingproblems. He has financialplanning expertiseconcentrating on the needs of the wealthy. Kevin has worked as an advanced markets consultant, at the carrier level for one of the largest insurers in North America, at the brokerage level for one of the country’s larger wholesale outlets for insurance products, known for its innovative strategies for key executives, and with a high end advisory firm, with a reputation built on thorough, outside-the-box guidance for business owners and their key employees.
Kevin understands life insurance and is skillful at using carrier illustration software and in building custom analyses in Excel. His insurance capability encompasses business insurance and executive benefits, including guaranteed issue alternatives. In addition, he has practical experience with disability income insurance and long term care insurance and options.Away from work, for the last five years Kevin has overseen disbursement of a charitable organization’s budget for assistance to the needy with housing and food. He is responsible for meeting those seeking assistance to determine needs, drawing on broader public assistance where applicable, and in directing the needy to resources to help them become more self-reliant.Kevin has been happily married for more than thirty years. He and his wife have five children, one goofy dog, and seem to be supporting from their garden a sizable den of rabbits, and small herd of deer. He loves reading, a wide variety of music, sports, and horse riding.

Kevin W. McLaughlin

Kevin’s (Kmack) primary responsibilities consist of marketing, internal sales support, assisting with case design and development, and customer service. Kevin was born and raised right here in Maryland, however he lived in Colorado for 4 years during his undergraduate studies. He graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2018 with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Business. He has interned for the United States House of Representatives and has also worked in the mortgage industry as a mortgage broker/credit analyst. Kevin received his Life and Health Insurance license in the state of Maryland in the beginning of 2019 and has set his sights on the insurance industry ever since. While relatively new to the industry, Kevin brings a fresh perspective to marketing and the tenacity to accomplish any challenge thrown his way. With a competitive mindset, he is driven to provide an unmatched client experience to anyone he works with. His background in sales, customer service, and analytics combine to provide our clients an efficient, communicative, and overall pleasurable experience. He holds the motto “what would I want” very closely to his values and applies it to every case he handles.

Kevin currently lives with his family in Pasadena Maryland. When he is not in the office, he loves to spend time outdoors. Some of his hobbies include camping/hiking, fishing/hunting, snowboarding, and being with friends. He has a passion for cars and nature, and loves to learn new things.
